Anastasia has worked in social services and education for over 15 years, with a special focus on children with behavioral and special needs. Over the course of that time she has developed creative programming to support healthy life choices, facilitated psycho-educational groups for youths, and young parents dealing with various life challenges and participated on research teams.
Anastasia appreciates the power of the creative arts in supporting the healing process and often incorporates them in the work she does. She has a special passion for empowering individuals and families in accessing their unique strengths and resiliency to express their fullest potential, regardless of their perceived limitations.
Anastasia has a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelor in Psychology and a Bachelor of Fine Arts, specializing in Art Education. She holds a post- Bachelor degree in Social Work, a Master of Social Work, specializing in children and their families, and is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers.
