Our story
Age to Age was born from a simple but powerful moment in 2005. While working alongside police officers responding to crisis calls, Harrison Mungal encountered a young man who had just lost his father. The young man was overwhelmed by grief, anger, and confusion. In the middle of that painful moment, Harrison took the time to gently help him regulate his emotions and de-escalate the crisis, creating space for calm to return.
Before leaving, Harrison invited him for coffee.
What began as a simple conversation turned into a weekly meeting. Over time, something meaningful began to unfold. As the young man was given space to speak openly, process his grief, and feel supported without judgment, he slowly began to regain a sense of stability and hope. Witnessing this transformation revealed a profound truth: when people are given understanding, guidance, and compassionate support, healing becomes possible.
Not long after, Harrison woke one morning with the phrase Age to Age clearly impressed on his mind. With it came a deeper understanding that every stage of life carries unique challenges. Whether young or old, from different cultures, backgrounds, or experiences, every person will face moments that test their emotional strength and affect their mental well-being. No one is immune to life’s unexpected struggles—but no one should have to face them alone.
Age to Age was created from that vision.
Today, Age to Age is a mental health collective dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. Our approach is rooted in compassion, neuroscience insight, and a deep belief in every person’s capacity for growth and healing. We provide a safe and supportive space where people can process their experiences, gain clarity, and develop practical tools to move forward with strength and confidence.
Many people reach out during seasons when life feels overwhelming—whether due to emotional distress, relationship challenges, trauma, or major life transitions. At Age to Age, we walk alongside you through those moments, helping you rediscover resilience, purpose, and hope.

Through years of experience working with people navigating trauma, relationships, and emotional struggles, it became clear that many were not only looking for professional support, but also for a space where they could feel genuinely heard, understood, and cared for.
Age to Age was built to be that space.
What began as a vision has grown into a practice committed to providing care that is compassionate, ethical, and accessible—while remaining grounded in professional standards and evidence-based approaches.
Over time, this vision expanded to include the Green Chair Project, creating opportunities for individuals without insurance to still receive meaningful support.
We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and supportive space where individuals and families can be heard, understood, and empowered in their journey toward healing and growth.
