Age To Age Inc. is seeking an individual to work as a social worker or registered psychotherapy with children under seventeen years old and abused women. We’re a passionate group of therapists who build strong relationships with our clients. We are committed to providing and creating a unique experience and space for our clients to feel supported, understood, and comforted. We specialize in mental health, substance abuse and addictions, relationships, parenting and other related issues with children and youth, and adults.

Description and Responsibilities:

Currently we are looking for therapists who can work with children and youth, and abuse women. They should be familiar with a strength-based and skills-based approach through a variety of modalities, including evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Integrative Eclectic Therapy, Humanistic Experiential Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Supportive Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Grounding Techniques and more.

The therapist will be responsible for the facilitation of sessions with clients who will be assigned to them. They will be required to monthly peer-reviewed meetings, monthly invoicing, and submission of session notes. All scheduling of appointments will be completed by our office staff. 

Job Qualifications:

  • Education – MSW (do not apply if you are not a registered MSW)

  • Current registration with the OCSWSSW or CRPO.

  • 1-3 years of counselling experience

  • Must have experience working with children, teens, and women in a clinical setting

  • Experience in CBT, DBT, SFT, behavioural therapy, play therapy an asset

  • Experience with LGBTQ2+ an asset

  • Experience providing consultation and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

  • Strong verbal and written communication in English

  • Second Language is a bonus

  • Must have valid Police Record Check and VSC

  • Experience with Teletherapy and creating a successful virtual experience

  • Must be available to be committed to work one day a week to accommodate clients

  • Must be open to hybrid work model, working in office and at home
